This 12V DC UPS provides 10 Amps of battery backup to power PTZ cameras at remote junction boxes at camera poles. The -40C to +75V temperature range allows operation in extreme conditions. A 1 Amp Sepic Charger provides 3 state charging of 12V Lead-Acid batteries. The charger shuts off at 60C to prevent over charge at high temperatures.

Benefits of the UPS-Sepic_Charger include:

• The extended operating temperature range, zero cross-over time, and extensive serial status of the UPS-Sepic_Charger provide remote monitoring and control of individual loads.
• The UPS-Sepic_Charger is an excellent choice for unmanned sites or for applications where redundant power is required.
• At 10 Amps the total IR drop of the UPS is approximately 500 mV producing a 95% plus efficiency. In the event that the temperature exceeds 50F an optional 3-wire fan reduces hot spots inside the enclosure.
• The host interface is via an RS422 serial link to a host PC that can optionall read the status of the JBOX and all I/O connected to the I2C bus.
